Publisher Playism and developer Areazero announced a major update for Valkyrie of Phantasm, their high-flying Touhou Project battling game.
The big new update for Valkyrie of Phantasm is launching on September 10th and will add full Japanese voiceovers, online matchmaking, and more.
Valkyrie of Phantasm has been available in early access since October 2022 for Windows PC (via Steam).

Update Overview
The major update that introduces a full Japanese voiceover is one equivalent to a full release! Not only can you enjoy the story of the Valkyries fully voiced in Japanese, Network Mode has been fully implemented and now includes 2v2 team matches.
We are also planning to implement other features like Ultimate spells, so now’s a better time than ever to join in on the exciting online battles!
Keep up fast and flashy combos by parrying and dodging enemy attacks in this game’s characteristic action gameplay, and learn new skills and combos to further flesh out your playstyle.
Future Update Plans
We’re also planning several more updates in the future, including a focused single-player mode, more battle stages, new spells, and of course, system and balance improvements. Please look forward to the further evolution of Valkyrie of Phantasm.
