Sega has announced the release date for Valkyria Chronicles Remastered.

The upcoming remastered version of the classic PlayStation 3 tactical RPG will launch on May 17th in North America and Europe, for PlayStation 4.

A new trailer for the game was revealed (featured above), which showcases the BLiTZ tactical battle system.

While North American pre-orders and some launch copies come with the collectible metal Squad 7 Armored Case, Europeans are eligible to get the “Europa Edition,” which comes with a 32-page art booklet dubbed The Art of Valkyria Chronicles Remastered, as well as a double-sided A3 posted featuring Squad 7 on one side and Selvaria Bles on the reverse side`.
