Sega has launched digital pre-orders and a free playable demo for Valkyria Chronicles 4.

While the digital pre-orders are available for all platforms the game is launching for, the playable demo is only available for consoles for now (sorry PC fans of ours).

Digital pre-orders for the game will net you the downloadable side mission “A Captainless Squad,” where a group of Squad E soldiers come to find themselves on a sudden reconnaissance operation when their squad’s medic dog Ragnarok goes missing. You’ll be able to play this in-game on day one if you pre-order it, as well as purchase it separately in October for $4.99.

PlayStation 4 digital pre-orders will also net you a PlayStation 4 theme and avatar set.

Here’s a rundown on the demo:

In the Valkyria Chronicles 4 Demo, available now as a free download on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Nintendo Switch eShop, you’ll join Commander Claude Wallace and his comrades in Squad E as they begin the first steps of Operation Northern Cross. Experience the series’ signature watercolor aesthetic as presented by the CANVAS Engine and get a feel for the innovative tactical BLiTZ system before the full game launches on September 25. Play through the prologue and first two chapters of the game, as well as an exclusive bonus mission created for the demo. Demo save data, including items obtained, class levels, earned experience, and currency total will transfer over to the full game, so you can pick up right where you left off. Additionally, importing save data from the demo will net you an exclusive accessory for use in the full game.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is launching across Windows PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch on September 25th in the Americas and Europe.
