Valhalla Game Studios to Appear in Court for Name Trademark Lawsuit

We’ve learned (from the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association, via NeoGAF) that Devil’s Third creators Valhalla Game Studios are to appear in court over a trademark dispute – for the rights to their own name and logo.

Details are currently scant, however, we need only compare the two entities and their respective logos, as well as their names:

The plaintiff is Valhalla Entertainment (AMC’s The Walking Dead), who have brought this lawsuit to a special event in the Loyola Law School.

The hearing will begin this Friday, November 13th. You can find the entire schedule for the hearing below:

Devil’s Third is the first game by Valhalla Game Studios, who recently announced Devil’s Third Online with Korean publisher Nexon.
