Big Sugar and Steel Mantis have announced Valfaris: Mecha Therion, the sequel to their hit 2D action-platformer from 2019.
Valfaris: Mecha Therion launches late 2022 for Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
While the original Valfaris was a 2D action-platformer, Mecha Therion is undergoing a bit of a genre shift. This time around, players will be battling the forces of Lord Vroll in a giant mecha, with 2.5D shmup gameplay using a variety of devastating guns and melee weapons.
