In V Rising, Copper can get outdated fast, so it’s time to start looking for some Iron.

Players at the beginning of V Rising‘s mid-game will find themselves in desperate need of Iron, as it’s needed for quite a few recipes, as well as the next tier of weapons.

Iron can be found roughly around the center of the Dunley Farmlands area, but unlike Copper, which was everywhere, Iron can only be found inside of mines.

Iron nodes are present inside of caves, generally guarded by restless undead enemies. The Iron nodes look just like regular stones, except they have a bunch of metallic spots on them.

It’s worth noting that collecting Iron is useless without moving through the Level 37 V Blood target, though.

Players who collect Iron without taking down Quincey, the Bandit King will not have much use for it, as he is the one who unlocks the smelting recipe for Iron Ingots.

Both Quincey and the Iron mines are tough challenges, so it’s recommended that you upgrade as much as possible on the Copper tier before attempting to move on to Iron, especially when playing on PvP servers.
