Publisher NIS America has announced a western release for Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen.
Developed by Aquaplus, the remake of the original Utawarerumono is launching sometime in early 2020 for both North America and Europe, across PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. The PS4 release is coming to retail, while the PS Vita version is digital-only. The game will have both Japanese audio and English subtitles.

The launch “Origins Edition” of the game includes: a copy of the game, “Hymns for the Fallen” soundtrack CD, and “Archives of Yamayura” softcover art book.
Lastly, there’s a $79.99 limited edition planned, which includes: a copy of the game, hardcover art book, soundtrack CD, metal key chain, poster, and a collector’s box. The LE is now available for pre-order over on the NIS America Online Store.
