Nintendo has released the 3.0 update for Mario Tennis Aces.

The new update adds the “Ring Shot” mode, as well as “Yoshi’s Ring Shot” limited time event, and even a new opening movie.

While Ring Shot is a new mode where your goal is to get a high score by passing the ball through rings, up to four players can play on a single Switch console. Standard energy rules apply, but successful blocks will not break rackets. The Yoshi’s Ring Shot timed event is a co-op challenge that runs until June 1. Players who collect enough points can unlock different color Yoshis.
