The upcoming film based on Tom Clancy’s novel Rainbow Six has revealed that Chad Stahelski will be directing.
Stahelski is known for his work on the popular John Wick franchise. The movie will also be a follow-up of the movie, No Remorse, also based on a novel by Tom Clancy.
The predecessor film starred Michael B. Jordan as former navy seal John Kelly, who goes out for revenge against Russian operatives that killed his wife and squadmates.
No details about plot or release date were given about the Rainbow Six film with this announcement (via The Hollywood Reporter), though Stahelski will also executive produce under his studio 87Eleven Entertainment.
However, currently Stahelski’s last directing gig is the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4, which is set to release March 24, 2023.
