You’re Fired! is described as a “comical infinite runner,” and I’m definitely getting those vibes just from seeing the game in action. The title is a mobile and Amazon Fire TV game, and it sees you unleashing your inner rage on your office co-workers, by burning the entire office building down!

The actual story within the game centers around protagonist Jerry Canned, and much like his family name, he ends up getting called into Herman Resorsez’s office (his boss), and he is promptly and quite literally canned, and out of a job. However, the story doesn’t end here as Jerry, like so some other disgruntled layoffs, decides to get even.

The game sees you dodging office desks, chairs, and surprisingly low ceiling fans in your path to ultimate destruction. You must collect gas cans to keep fueling your fiery rage, and you can also drink coffee to get a speed boost, or hurl molotov cocktails at obstructions to clear your way.

You’re Fired! features some rewards and collectibles as well, specifically in the form of power ups, and even costumes. Each individual costume actually has its own unique theme song, so make sure you collect them all. You’re Fired! is the latest release by Semag Studio, a small indie team based within southern New Jersey.
