Independent developer Azra Games revealed the first full look at UnGodly, their dark fantasy free-to-play character-collector RPG.
Originally revealed back in May 2025, UnGodly is now set to launch sometime in 2026 for iOS and Android with a PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 release coming later.
“UnGodly isn’t just a game; it’s a story about survival, struggle, and the indomitable human spirit, and it’s designed to speak to the primal instincts we all share. We’ve created a world that is raw and honest, and will feel authentic to players who will recognize themselves in the characters.” said Mark Otero, Azra Games Founder & CEO. “UnGodly is ambitious. We aim to shock and awe gamers with an unapologetically classic dark fantasy experience inspired by the Roleplaying games that many of us grew up with.”
“We are pioneering the 4th generation of mobile RPGs, bridging the gap between mobile and console/PC experiences,” said Otero. “UnGodly will deliver open worlds, real-time party-based battles, and extended PvE campaigns, redefining mobile gaming with console-quality experiences. With a growing expert team and solid funding, we’re excited to bring Western gamers unparalleled gameplay on both mobile and PC.”
Here’s a rundown on the game, plus its gameplay reveal trailer:
A dying world, murdered gods, and a void that devours everything.
You are Vander, a brutal mercenary leading the Primals, warriors with divine blood who awaken their power through suffering. In Tarsea’s final days, only you stand between civilization and the Nethermaw’s eternal hunger.
Engage in visceral real-time combat where every strike lands with brutal weight. Collect and command a roster of four unique Primals, each wielding devastating elemental powers: fire, ice, earth, and lightning. Seamlessly swap between them mid-battle to unleash devastating, world-shaking combos.
UnGodly’s groundbreaking Affinity System remembers who you bond with and turns trust into power, unlocking new quests, storylines, and attacks impossible to achieve alone. Romance, rivalry, betrayal, every relationship changes how your team fights and survives.
Built for your daily dark fantasy fix, UnGodly delivers deep stories with no filler, just you and a world worth saving from the abyss.
