OtherSide Entertainment and 505 Games have issued another major update to Underworld Ascendant in their ongoing quest to address many of the issues players have raised with the game.
This highly anticipated spiritual successor to the Ultima Underworld series released back in November, and was panned by critics and players alike. The Steam user score still sits at 39% based on 303 reviews.
Luckily, the developers are determined to keep updating the game with massive tweaks and new content. This latest patch addresses the AI, the save system, combat, stealth mechanics, level design, performance, quests, faction favor, character building, loot, and much, much more. You can read the full patch notes here, and check out a dev video about the patch above.
Underworld Ascendant is available on Windows PC via Steam for $29.99, and its currently 75% off until the 22nd.
