    An anime adaptation of Under Ninja will premiere this October as part of the Fall 2023 anime season.

    Under Ninja follows the high school loner Kurou Kumogakure who’s secretly a government-sponsored ninja. In the wake of World War 2, Japan implemented a program to protect its interests both domestic and foreign with the help of ninja operatives.

    The series began in 2018 from writer & artist Kengo Hanazawa. Hanazawa is most famous for their work on the zombie series I am a Hero.

    Under Ninja is the latest project from Tezuka Productions, who are also working on the upcoming anime of My Home Hero.

    An exact premiere date or English release has yet to be announced.
