Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Goes Gold

Naughty Dog has announced some exciting news – Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has gone gold.

This means the game’s development and code is finalized and ready to be put onto game discs, for distribution.

The game involves Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross, and is a standalone sequel to Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Players will journey deep into the Western Ghats mountains in search of an ancient Indian, explore the lost cities of the Hoysala Empire, and naturally fight some dastardly villains.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is launching for PlayStation 4 on August 22nd in North America and August 23rd in Europe.

“Uncharted, but without Nathan Drake” Naughty Dog are the latest dev to swap talent for politics.

Uncharted 4 doesn’t have a sequel and this game doesn’t exist. Don’t try to argue.

Remember when people actually believed ND when they said 4 was the last Uncharted?

Well, I’m really looking forward to it! I really like Chloe and I want more women playable in games.

At least Sony got a 4/5 from The Guardian on the diversity scale because Nadine is not white! Got to love how diversity is measured by a point system now where, I guess minorities are worth more than white people. They didn’t think that system through did they?

Too bad Sony lost a point because Horizon is “cultural appropriation of Native cultures on a white woman”. Maybe next year games will stop being horrible. /s

I’ll never say no to more of best girl Chloe. Can’t wait to play this!

I take it that you didn’t enjoy Chloe in the previous games? I was a little disappointed that she didn’t make an appearance in Uncharted 4 and I’m looking forward to Lost Legacy. Yes, I know the one head guy at Naughty Dog is a complete self-loathing piece of shit, but that doesn’t mean that the Uncharted and Last of Us games aren’t fan-fucking-tastic.

I don’t recall them ever saying it was “the last Uncharted”, simply that it was the end of Nathan’s story. However, since Uncharted was already really similar to Tomb Raider, I don’t see them continuing games with Chloe because a female lead would make it identical to Tomb Raider except for the particular story of each game.

I couldn’t stand Chloe, I wanted to shoot her, or leave her behind.
She betrayed Drake more than once with weak, flimsy excuses as to why.

Looks like a nice movie. When’s the game coming out?

If you played through the games, you see in the end that she was actually just double crossing Drake’s enemy and it just looked like she was screwing him over to maintain her cover.

Uncharted is and has always been mediocre at best.

No thanks. I think U4 was a weak sequel. Nothing really memorable except the graphics.

Uncharted and TLoU are both designed-by-committee generic scriptfests that just happen to have Hollywood style writers, colossal budgets and tons of pretty cutscenes.

Still doesn’t change the fact that she’s a cunt and that I wanted to blow her brains out for all the shit she pulled doing the game.

I don’t call this exciting news, Naughty Dog lost my interest with Uncharted three which was just a watered down carbon copy of Uncharted two with more unwanted friends and more ball kicking for the developers of how Nate needed to stop caring about his own needs and become Elena’s little boy toy.
Then came the Last of US or as I call it, the Lesbians and Gays of Us, whose core story premise falls apart the second you stop to think about it.
Uncharted Four was just a giant warning sign that Nate had been reduced to a BETA male for cheap lols and that Black Chicks were just the BOSS!
And now we have Uncharted Four: The Virtue Signaling with its lesbian crew of kick ass men like treasure hunters.

    I did play through them.
Did not believe her at all, she was unconvincing and I thought Drake was an idiot to trust her.
It seemed to me she just swapped sides when it suited her benefit.

We are seeing a quality decline from Naughty Dog though, hopefully it won’t be terminal, like Bioware
