Ultra Street Fighter II Gets First-Person Mode

Capcom’s Street Fighter II remaster for Nintendo Switch, Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers, will include a brand new first-person mode.

Seen on a retail box in Japan (via Nintendo Everything), the mode, called “Unleash! Ha-Do-Ken,” will use the Joy-Con controllers for some sort of motion control, possibly similar to Nintendo’s own fighting game, ARMS.

The box also confirms a 250 piece art gallery available in game. You can see the box for yourself below:

Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers is coming soon for Nintendo Switch. The console itself launches March 3rd, 2017.

That’s an interesting idea and it would’ve worked better for VR, but then again this is Capcom, so I’m sure they’ll mess it up somehow.

A gimmicky extra that might be fun for a few rounds. I’ve got no problem with it being included, though. The main game is the real draw.

They’re re-releasing Street Fighter II AGAIN? C’mon Capcom, just give us Ultra Street Fighter V EX Arcade Edition already.

Dead or Alive 5 PS Vita already has this same mode using the touch screen.
