While Capcom is no stranger to offering extremely swanky limited editions for their video games, their latest – for Devil May Cry 5 – probably takes the cake.
The “Ultra Limited Edition” comes in a few flavors, beginning with the most expensive – a “Master Model Replica” of Dante’s signature leather jacket. You can view that below:
This version will set you back nine hundred thousand yen, which translates to roughly eight thousand dollars. You read that right – you could get a modest used automobile, or you could steal the show at your next local nerd convention as the demon-killer himself.
Next up is the Master Model Replica for Nero’s jacket:
This jacket will also cost a pretty penny, at 750,000 yen the western currency equivalent is roughly $6655. At least this one has unique fraying on the one sleeve, making it maybe worth the thousands of dollars more than buying a regular jacket at TJ Maxx.
Last but not least is the sleeveless jacket the new character “V” wears, which you can find below:
Before you go thinking V is a burly wrestler-type fighter therefore requiring the need for a sleeveless S&M outfit, you should look at the latest trailer for the game showing off his lanky form. This jacket will cost you 600,000 yen, or $5300.
In case you missed it, you can find our thorough hands-on preview for the game here straight from this year’s Gamescom.
Devil May Cry 5 is launching across Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 8th, 2019.
