Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Koei Tecmo shared a new trailer for Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher at Tokyo Game Show 2022.

The new “Daily Life of a Kaiju Breeder” gives a thorough overview of the new Kaiju raising game, narrated by none other than Monster Rancher mainstay breeder Holly (voice by Mariko Kouda).

Players will be able to choose their Kaiju from birth, which you then raise and battle in tournaments. Kaiju can be combined to get new variants, and NFC can be used to summon more Kaiju.

Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher is a brand-new collaboration between Ultraman, a famous Japanese Tokusatsu work, and Monster Rancher, a popular role-playing simulation series.

This new game introduces the iconic Ultra Kaiju such as Alien Baltan, Zetton, and Gomora to the popular gameplay mechanics of raising and battling monsters from the Monster Rancher series.

Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher is coming west for Nintendo Switch sometime later in 2022, via the eShop. The Japanese and Asian release is set for October 20th digitally and at retail, and the Asian version will include English subtitles.
