SUNSOFT has announced they’re re-releasing classic 1991 action/adventure game Ufouria: The Saga.

Ufouria: The Saga is coming to consoles sometime in 2023, across Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4. The game was originally released in Japan for the Famicom back in 1991, then on the NES in Europe a year later – it was never released in North America.

The cult hit Ufouria, also known as Hebreke, a metroidvania-style series whose gameplay influenced many other popular titles, is expected to launch on consoles in 2023. A soundtrack on vinyl and cassette is planned for this title as well.
