Ubisoft and Michel Ancel Tease Beyond Good & Evil News

Beyond Good & Evil series creator Michel Ancel has teased something for the franchise.

The news comes via the French Ubisoft Twitter account, which shared a tweet with an instagram link to the above image.

“Michel Ancel has an Instagram account and you are advised to follow closely,” teased the publisher.

The caption for the image reads: “Somewhere in system 4, thanks Ubisoft for making this possible!”

For those not familiar with the series, the image seemingly displays a younger Pey’j, a character from Beyond Good & Evil. System 4 is also the name of the solar system in Beyond Good & Evil.

While Beyond Good & Evil 2 was first announced back in 2008, it hasn’t seen a release – or much of anything to be honest.

However, during this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot went on record to say that the series is still alive in some shape or form.

Could this be a final release for Beyond Good & Evil 2, or possibly a prequel to the original? What are you hoping for? Sound off in the comments below!
