Krome Studios has randomly launched a remastered version of the classic PlayStation 2 3D platformer, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger.
Ok, the game has been in Early Access for awhile and somewhat flew under our radar, however the full release for the game is today. Featured above, you can view a new trailer showcasing the game’s remastered visuals.
Here are the game’s key features:
- Explore 17 levels of the Australian Outback in their old-school 3D platforming glory
- 13 different boomerangs including the Frostyrang, Flamerang and powerful Doomerang
- Improved graphics; including updated shadows, reflections, HD resolutions and 60fps
- Steamworks integration for achievements and leaderboards
Originally released for PlayStation 2 back in 2002 by Krome Studios and published by Electronic Arts, the game featured an Australia-based adventure with the aforementioned Tasmanian Tiger. Players would traverse a multitude of environments and levels while collecting different kinds of boomerang weapons.
You can find Ty the Tasmanian Tiger here on Steam.
