Topware Interactive have announced new DLC expansions for Two Worlds II, their five-year old RPG, alongside a standalone sequel, Two Worlds III.
The new expansions, Call of the Tenebrae and Shattered Embrace, will come alongside an engine update for the game. The engine will add more details to the game, a high-definition GUI and new compatibility for both Linux and SteamOS, as well as co-op multiplayer, achievements, and more.
Two Worlds II will also get eight multiplayer maps. While Call of the Tenebrae is set to release sometime this June, it will focus “on the Hero’s return to Antaloor, where he witnesses the shocking murder of DarPha!” Details for Shattered Embrace were not confirmed.
As for Two Worlds III, we literally just have a logo to go off of, however Topware said the game will be in development over “the next 36 months,” so don’t expect the game to release anytime soon.
