Japanese publisher and developer Fahrenheit 213 announced a release window for Tsurugihime, their long-awaited sidescrolling action RPG.

Tsurugihime is finally set to launch for Windows PC (via Steam) sometime in 2026, via early access.

TSURUGIHIME is a side scrolling action RPG inspired by timeless classics, where you can craft every aspect of your adventure — combat, growth, exploration, story, and even your “little sister.” It is an RPG that lets you shape not only your journey, but destiny itself.

Character design is handled by KUROBOSHI KOUHAKU, known for his work on Summon Night, Kino’s Journey, and Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online. The composer is Takeharu Ishimoto, whose notable works include The World Ends with You, Kingdom Hearts, and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.

Directed by Yosuke Shiokawa, who previously served as Creative Producer on Fate/Grand Order, TSURUGIHIME marks his first game since going independent. A small, tightly knit team is bringing the project to life, pouring their passion and craftsmanship into every aspect of the experience.
