Japanese developer Tatsujin has announced Truxton Extreme, a brand new entry in their classic shoot ’em up franchise.

Truxton Extreme (known as Tatsujin in Japan) is in development for PS5 with a release set for sometime in 2024, worldwide. The game will be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2023, too.

This title, which bears our company name, is currently in development as a completely new game that inherits the DNA of “TATSUJIN,” a masterpiece that shines brightly in the history of vertical scrolling shooters and was developed by our company’s representative, Masatoshi Yuge, in 1988 at the former Toaplan.
