The Angry Birds formula is something of magic, creating a simple yet insanely addicting gameplay experience that someone can play in short bursts – perfect for mobile gaming. This naturally created a window for lots of developers to make Angry Birds clones, and that’s pretty much what we’re looking at now with Trucks & Skulls.
I never really got into Angry Birds, despite its name, Angry Birds, I never really felt their anger, or their hatred, for those blasted pigs. Trucks & Skulls takes the classic physics based launcher gameplay and ups the anger and hate to 11, complete with some heavy metal tunes playing in the background.
You can view a trailer for the game below, featuring the same announcer from Idiocracy:
The game has been out on iOS devices, but has now made the jump to Playstation Mobile. Coming from this, the game will be playable on the PSP, and the Playstation Vita, but sadly it will be limited to the Playstation Mobile format, meaning reduced file sizes and no trophies.
