Japanese developer Cosmo Machia has announced Triggerheart Exelica Enhanced, an upgraded re-release of their classic shoot ’em up game.
Triggerheart Exelica Enhanced will include a new playable character, Faintear (Original), one of the original antagonists of the game, as well as an “Enhanced” story mode with high-resolution CG artwork, and other features like raining mode, online rankings, and portrait screen (TATE) support.
A release for the new upgraded port is set for sometime in early 2025 for Japan, though the game will be playable at Konami’s partner booth at Tokyo Game Show 2024 from September 26th through the 29th.
The original TriggerHeart EXELICA was recently re-released for PC (via Steam) in April 2024.
