Publisher Spike Chunsoft has announced they’re delisting tri-Ace RPG Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky early next month.
Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky is being removed from the PlayStation Store on January 1st for PS4 and on January 5th for PS Vita.
The new delisting includes the base game and its post-launch downloadable content, and the physical version will be discontinued as well (they were still producing it in Japan apparently).
Reasoning behind the delisting wasn’t announced, and western publisher Aksys Games hasn’t announced plans to delist its western listings.
Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky was originally released for PS4 and PS Vita in Japan back in December 2015, followed by a western release in 2026.
Here’s a brief blurb on the game:
Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky is an RPG where Kanata and various others have been imbued with pieces of the dark god, Yamatoga’s soul and are sent to Protolexa, for reasons unbeknownst to them.
Battle enemies and the armies of Chasseur as you search out for your other teammates, complete quests and side events, and learn the truth of why you have been chosen.
