It seems like word of Nepro Japan buying out storied Japanese RPG developer tri-Ace forced the publisher to reveal their future plans for the developer, and the outlook is brighter than you probably thought.

tri-Ace will be continuing their development of console games, news coming from a new press release from Nepro Japan. In the press release, Nepro details the future of tri-Ace:

Nepro Japan is vying to become an excellent producer of games in both quality and scale, via both tri-Ace and their other subsidiary, Mobile & Game Studio. Despite their final goal being superb game creators, they have divided this up into four parts:

  • Obtain a high satisfaction rate (from both publishers and players)
  • Pioneer new technology
  • Foster new talent and hires
  • Pursue bigger scale and profits
