Paradox Interactive has teamed up with Urban Games to publish Transport Fever 3, combining two companies that share a similar philosophy when it comes to deep, player-focused strategy games.
The goal here is simple: take what already works and make it bigger, smarter and more immersive without losing the core identity fans enjoy. It’s also worth noting that while Paradox will handle publishing, the intellectual property remains with Urban Games.
The game challenges you to build and manage a transport empire that stretches across multiple systems.
You’ll be planning railways, roads, shipping routes and air networks, all while adapting to a living world that responds to your decisions. This time around, the simulation goes even deeper, with cities and industries evolving dynamically based on how you connect and supply them.
One of the interesting additions is the variety of environments. You’ll be working across four distinct regions: temperate, desert, tropical and a brand-new sub-arctic setting.
Each comes with its own challenges, meaning your strategies won’t work the same everywhere. Terrain generation has also been significantly improved, making each map feel more organic and less predictable.
Vehicles remain a huge part of the experience and Transport Fever 3 expands that lineup even further. You’ll have access to more than 250 authentic transport options, covering over a century of innovation.
Trains, buses, trucks, ships and planes all return, but helicopters are being introduced for the first time, adding a new layer of flexibility to your logistics network.
Transport Fever 3 is scheduled to launch in 2026 on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
