Bandai Namco have announced SD Gundam Strikers, a game that will be launching in Asia this Spring on both Android and iOS smartphones and tablets.
There are three kinds of mecha available in the game, for melee, close-range, and long-range combat, and multiple characters to choose to pilot the robots, each of which alter the base gameplay in some way. Players will use these mecha to execute a variety of tasks, in varied environments that include wilderness, desert, cities, and space.
You can watch the first trailer for the mobile game above.
This isn’t the only Gundam video game currently in development, and not even the only mobile title. SD Gundam Next Evolution, the sequel MMO to SD Gundam Online, and SD Gundam Shooter, a mobile sidescrolling arcade shooter, are also being developed by Bandai Namco.
