Roughly two months ago Tecmo Koei trademarked Toukiden Kyoku, a seemingly updated version to their brand new demon hunting game that was released on Playstation Vita. Straight from this week’s Famitsu magazine, we’ve learned that the game is real, and it’s coming sometime this year.

Just like its predecessor, Toukiden Kyoku is coming to both Playstation Vita and the original Playstation Portable in Japan. The updated version is coming with a new demon called “Imihayahi,” which appears roughly three months after the events of the previous game.

Toukiden Kyoku is roughly 50% percent complete, and will come with with new NPC characters, new equipment, new firearm weapons, double the amount of demons, deeper customization, more special moves, and of course – more armor and spirits for you to collect and don as you don the boots of a demon hunter.
