Koei Tecmo Europe have released some screenshots, featured below, for Toukiden: Kiwami, and we decided to do you better and detail what we know of the game so far.
Above you can watch a trailer for Toukiden: Kiwami which was released a while ago.
The title is a hunting game in which the player creates a custom protagonist, and hunts down demons (“oni”, in Japanese) with the help of a group of warriors.
Toukiden: Kiwami releases on March 27, 2015 for the Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita.
Characters
The entire cast from the original game, Toukiden: The Age of Demons, will be returning in the sequel, and new characters will also be added, including the three below.
Horou
Koei Tecmo describes her as “a mysterious visitor from afar.”
Souma
Souma is “a heroic leader of the ‘Hundred Demon Corps’.”
Reki
“A young warrior with a heart of steel.”
Oni
The two new demons for the game revealed so far are the Snowflame (first row below), and Mynx (second row below). Koei Tecmo says more will soon be coming. Indeed, the claim is that the number of demons to hunt have doubled in the sequel.
Weapons
New weapons in Toukiden: Kiwami include the club, naginata, and rifle.
As the release date nears and Koei Tecmo publish more information about the title, we’ll keep you updated.
