Tecmo Koei has announced that Toukiden Extreme will launch on Playstation Vita and PSP on August 28th in Japan.

The game is coming with a “Treasure Box” edition that will be packaged with a Mofumofu plushie, an art booklet, original soundtrack CD, and six downloadable costumes. First run copies of the game will come with one male and one female downloadable costume, which are named Aiba and Yuki, respectively.

If you have save data from the original game, you’ll get access to the “Yamato” and “Hollow” costumes. Also, if you cleared the game’s story, you’ll get the “Angel” fox costume.

A demo for Toukiden Extreme will be launching on the Japanese PlayStation Store next Thursday, June 5th.
