Publisher Hamster Corporation has announced the next Console Archives release is Toujinmakyouden Hercules no eikou, the 80s RPG that spawned a series.

Toujinmakyouden Hercules no Eikou is launching tonight/tomorrow on May 21st for both Switch 2 and PlayStation 5, worldwide.

Rise up, Hero Hercules!

“Toujinmakyouden Hercules no eikou” was released by DATA EAST in 1987 for an 8-bit home console.

This is a RPG game where you embark on a journey with the goal of defeating the Demon King Hades and rescuing the goddess Venus who has been taken to the underworld.

Overcome the various difficulties that await, defeat the monsters that stand in your way, and gallantly rescue Venus!

Note: This title was originally released exclusively in Japan. While the user interface and manual are available in English, the game content is available in Japanese only.
