Creative Assembly have announced the Champions of Chaos pack, the first batch of Legendary Lords DLC coming to Total War: Warhammer III.

The Champions of Chaos pack will release on August 23rd, coinciding with the release of the highly anticipated Immortal Empires update.

As with most Total War: Warhammer III DLC, the Champions of Chaos pack will add new Legendary Lords with their own unique units, campaign mechanics, and events. This first DLC for Total War: Warhammer III is all about Legendary Lords for the Warriors of Chaos, and includes 4 new infamous characters from Warhammer lore, one for each of the Dark Gods.

The first revealed Legendary Lord in the pack is Azazel. This once proud champion of Sigmar fell to the temptations of the Lord of Excess, becoming a powerful and cruel Daemon Prince of Slaanesh known as the Prince of Damnation, Captain of the Ecstatic Legion.
