Sega and developer Creative Assembly’s historical strategy game Total War: Troy has launched on the Epic Games Store, and will be free for 24 hours.
As previously reported, the game will not only be an exclusive on the Epic Games Store for 12 months, but that it will also be free if purchased within 24-hours of launch. After that the game will come to Steam in 2021.
Inspired by The Illiad, the game is set during the Trojan war. Players can side with Greeks or Trojans, choosing from heroes such as Achilles, Hector, Paris, and Menelaus. Players will also discover how some of the great myths and legends may have come about, such as the Minotaur, Cyclops, Giants, and Centaurs.
