Creative Assembly have confirmed the release date for Total War: Atilla.
The Total War: Rome II follow-up is arriving on PC next February 17th. Alongside the announcement of the release date was the confirmation of a special edition:
The special edition comes with a physical copy of the game, the Attila The Hun Biography, a double-sided reference guide poster, and the newly revealed Viking Forefathers Culture Pack. While a price wasn’t confirmed for the special edition, Sega did confirm that it is exclusive to North America.
If you pre-order the game, you’ll get the aforementioned Norse-themed DLC called the Viking Forefathers. The downloadable content adds three playable factions in the form of the Danes, Geats and Jutes. Each faction comes with their own unique traits like morale boosts to soldiers in winter, or even immunity to high-seas attrition.
If you don’t preorder Total War: Attila, you can still buy the DLC separately for $7.99/£5.99/€7.49, respectively on the date of launch.
You can find Total War: Attila here on Steam, for $44.99.
