Torment: Tides of Numenera’s Website Opens, New Video Springs Forth

Sending classic CRPG fans into a frothing mad frenzy when it hit Kickstarter last year, Planescape’s spiritual successor Tides of Numenera easily raised over 4 million on its quick rise to crowd-funding greatness. Crafted by Brian Fargo’s inXile studio, Torment aims to bring back the top-shelf quality dialog that the genre seems to have shied away from during the past decade.

…and if that didn’t get you pumped, then maybe the fact that the official site has launched and a new video has been put out:

The video is unlisted, though I doubt they’d pull it. Even still, I’d waste no time in viewing it, since it shows off 3 minutes of some enticing pre-alpha footage that, to my knowledge, has never been seen.

The downside? This will make the game’s 4th quarter 2015 release seem even further away than it already is.
