The 2024 2k Publisher Sale has just started, bringing deals for franchises such as Borderlands, Mafia, and Civilization, as well as newer titles like Marvel’s Midnight Suns.
2K’s catalogue of games is quite big, and there are definitely some duds in there, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t published some good titles as well.

3- The Darkness II
Starting off with a somewhat older title we have The Darkness 2, published by 2K and developed by Digital Extremes, best known for a little indie title called Warframe. The Darkness 2 is a fast-paced and gory FPS with a unique supernatural twist, and features a surprisingly gripping narrative filled with charismatic characters.
In this direct sequel, players are again put in the shoes of the supernatural hitman Jackie Estacado, as he shoots, hacks, slashes, maims, and eats the hearts of whoever stands in his way.
The Darkness 2 is an incredibly unique game, and there definitely hasn’t been anything similar to it since its release. As a bonus, the game also includes a four-player cooperative set of missions, in which players are able to experience a unique set of levels as different vessels for the darkness.

2- Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Borderlands is one of the most famous franchises published by 2K, but it seems to have dipped in quality after the release of its second installment. Miraculously, though, a spin-off that came out two years after Borderlands 3 was able to find its footing as a cooperative adventure.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands brings back the main concept for one of Borderlands 2‘s most well-received DLCs, and fully expands upon it by creating a unique campaign inspired by the Dungeons and Dragons tabletop RPG, doubling down on the fantastical aspects present in the Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep DLC.
Even if the writing in Borderlands isn’t your cup of tea, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands serves as a surprisingly fun RPG shooter with lots of build variety and different equipment to collect.

1- Marvel’s Midnight Suns
Marvel’s Midnight Suns initially disappointed people who wanted another hack-and-slash Ultimate Alliance-esque title, but Firaxis Games, known for their work on the XCOM series, managed to showcase just how engaging a turn-based RPG can be.
The game roughly follows the Midnight Sons comic book lineup, which featured Ghost Rider, Blade, Doctor Strange, and other characters related to the supernatural. The difference is that this time they are also joined by a lot of other heroes, like Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Captain America.
What could have been another flop, like Marvel’s Avengers, ended up becoming a really solid story-heavy RPG where players get to create their own super hero and fight against supernatural enemies in turn-based combat.
