• Toonami announces Dragon Ball Z Kai mini-marathon in honor of Akira Toriyama

    Cartoon Network’s Toonami programming block announced a Dragon Ball Z Kai mini-marathon in honor of the late Akira Toriyama.

    The marathon on March 16 will include the first four episodes of the series which is a condensed retelling of Dragon Ball Z that updates the animation and cuts out filler episodes.

    Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama passed away earlier this month at the age of 68.
