While the European release date for Devil’s Third was confirmed for Europe and Japan just prior to E3, mention of a North American release date never came during the actual trade show last week.

Following this, the game itself has been quietly removed from the “Future Releases” portion of the Nintendo Wii U eShop, and we still haven’t seen a peep from Nintendo of America. Fans have gotten worried, some even suspecting the game’s North American release being cancelled.

Now, game creator and Valhalla Game Studios founder Tomonobu Itagaki shared an optimistic message:

“I will release my Devil’s Third in North/South America! My will,” Itagaki said over on his personal Facebook page.

So while this is a far cry from an actual date from Nintendo of America, trust us – he is hearing your cries, and he wants to release the absurdly awesome action/shooter here, in the Americas.
