MonkeyPaw Games haven’t been resting during the holiday break – they have a new batch of fresh import games for the Japanese import PS One Classics section of the Playstation Network. If you’ve never browsed to “that part of the PSN,” then you’ve been missing out my friend.
Despite the games being in their original un-localized form, the majority of the titles chosen don’t require translation, as such they’re generally quite fun to just hop into. The new titles will begin hitting the Playstation Store today, January 14th, and they will include the following games with the appropriate release schedule:
- Jan. 14 – Double Dragon (the fighting game based on the movie—never released outside Japan)
- Jan. 21 – Lucifer Ring
- Jan. 28 – The Firemen 2: Pete and Danny
- Feb. 4 – Hyper Crazy Climber
- Feb 11 – Wolf Fang
- Feb 18 – Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return
MonkeyPaw Games published a trailer showcasing all of the new titles:
Each game is only six bucks, except for the iconic Tomba! 2 which will set you back ten dollars.
