Japanese developer Falcom has announced Tokyo Xanadu New Project, a tentatively titled action RPG to celebrate the series’ 10th anniversary.

While details on Tokyo Xanadu New Project (tentative title) are scant, the game is being developed for unconfirmed consoles as a 10th anniversary release.

10 years since Nippon Falcom’s first modern action RPG Tokyo Xanadu…

The story is set in Japan’s city, Kyoto, and depicts the story of young people who travel to the otherworldly realm “Xanadu.”

Although it has a common world view with “Tokyo Xanadu”, which is set in the capital city of Tokyo, the setting is completely new.
