Japanese developer Drecom has announced a delay for Tokyo Stories, their pixelated adventure game.
The tentatively titled 3D and pixelated adventure game is forgoing its previously planned 2023 release for sometime after this year. When released, it’ll be available for PC (via Steam) and consoles.
Producer Yuki Ikeda noted the delay is due to the game outgrowing its originally planned scope – as they worked on it they added more ideas and content and thus it became a bigger game.
Lastly, a playable demo for the game will be available at this year’s BitSummit in Kyoto, from July 14th through the 16th.
