Well that was quick – roughly a week after confirming that Title Update 14 on Minecraft was coming to Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, the sizeable update is confirmed to be live on both platforms.

Title Update 14 brings increased Ender Chests, Zombie Villagers, Emeralds, and more to the indie hit on both platforms. There are also some other fun little enhancements and tweaks, like cauldrons filling up with rainwater, wolf collars that are able to be dyed into different colors, and pigs dropping more scrumptious pork chops.

There will also be two new skin packs available today, the first of which includes characters from popular series that are prominent on Playstation platforms like Killzone, Sly Cooper, and Uncharted. The second pack, the Battle of the Beasts Pack, is being poised as the craziest expansion pack available to date, including both animal and human skins, cavemen, octopi, and even… Cleopatra?

Lastly, there will be two new texture packs that will give the industrial hobbyist something to shake a stick at – both the City Texture pack and the Plastic Texture pack will help you in your quest to create more urban designs in your Minecraft world.
