Titanfall: Frontline Mobile Game Cancelled

Developer Particle City has announced their mobile card game based off the Titanfall franchise, Titanfall: Frontline, has been cancelled.

The statement the developer released states the following:

It is our goal to create the best Titanfall mobile games that showcase the fast-paced action, mobility and, of course, the power of Titans in this iconic series. We’ve learned an incredible amount in the beta test of Titanfall: Frontline, but in the end felt the experience wasn’t ready to deliver the intense action-packed gameplay synonymous with Titanfall. While it’s never easy to cancel a game, we’re excited to take some of the concepts we saw resonate with players and build off of them in future Titanfall mobile games. Titanfall: Frontline’s closed beta will be winding down in the next few days, and servers will go offline on January 20, 2017. We want to thank you for your support of Titanfall: Frontline.

While it remains to be seen if Particle City will be back in the future with a new Titanfall mobile game, for now the franchise is sticking to PC and console only.

If you want to learn more about the newest game in the series, Titanfall 2, be sure to check out our review.

Welp into the irrelevant void with this seires if they can’t even deliver on the cash grab mobile game (unless Ea or devs realived mobile is trash and give up on making another one.) Hope someone else picks up the western mech videogame mantle. god knows so few walk this path or will be able to shove it in my face as much as Ea can.

Sort of hard to lament a game getting cancelled when it’s the first time you’ve heard of it.
