If you haven’t heard of  Kantai Collection (KanColle) then you aren’t alone.  The truth however is that this game has become quite the little phenomenon in japan and if you are familiar with the way Japanese fan communities work, you know that merch won’t be too far behind.  The game is a free downloadable social card collecting game featuring lots of cute anime girls.
