Time-Traveling Puzzle Game Reset has Been Funded

Developer Theory Interactive Ltd. is a two man team from Finland, and they have quite the mesmerizing game in development. Titled simply Reset, the game was on crowdfunding platform indiegogo for awhile and managed to surpass their goal of €65,000 Euros.

Reset is described as a sci-fi noir, a mystery and of course, a puzzle game. The game has somewhat of a cyberpunk feel to it, although in the game you’ll be piloting a mech and completing puzzles… by yourself. Yes, the time-traveling caveat comes to play when you have to use your own actions to help you solve complex puzzles.

Check out a trailer for the game below:

The environment in Reset is a huge 16 square KM island somewhere in the Galapagos. As you explore and solve puzzles, you’ll find more of the story firsthand, as the island is riddled in mystery. How much you enjoy Reset boils down to how little of the game you watch or read about beforehand.

Even though the game did not reach the Director’s Cut stretch goal, Theory Interactive are making it a reality anyway – as an early Christmas present! The game has gotten Oculus Rift support, naturally this was a feature high in demand as the game is played in first person.

The initial development for the game is scheduled to be finished by the end of 2014, and will feature at least six hours of content. Support for platforms outside of PC, the likes of Mac, Linux, SteamOS, Playstation 4 and Xbox One have been discussed internally, so stay tuned!
