Eclipse Glow Games has released a brand-new behind-the-scenes technical showcase for Tides of Annihilation, giving players a closer look at how the studio is building its dark Arthurian adventure using Unreal Engine 5 and NVIDIA technology.
Massive boss fights, highly detailed environments, dynamic lighting, and surreal mirror-like effects are all powered through features like Nanite, path tracing, and DLSS 4.5.
The developers say optimization is a major focus across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, which is reassuring considering how visually ambitious the game already appears. Here’s the new gameplay showcase:
But flashy graphics aren’t the only thing getting attention. The combat continues to look incredibly fast and stylish, mixing hack-and-slash action with multiple playable knights and reality-warping encounters.
Set in a shattered version of modern London mixed with mythical realms like Avalon, the game throws you into brutal battles against supernatural invaders. You play as Gwendolyn, a knight caught between reality and fantasy as entire worlds begin collapsing into each other.
The studio also confirmed that players will get a chance to try the game themselves during its first public hands-on event later this summer. Exact details haven’t been revealed yet, but more information is expected soon through official channels.
Tides of Annihilation is in development for Windows PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, though a release date wasn’t confirmed.
