Zan has released a big new update for Hedon.

The 1.4.0 update transfers the game to the GZDoom 4.1.4 build, bringing with it a number of quality of life enhancements, improved gore effects, reworked animations, and other optimizations. You can watch a trailer for the update above.

More importantly, the update adds the new Bearzerk difficulty setting, which limits you to melee and throwing weapons, but also unlocks an arsenal of new weapons that aren’t in the other modes.

Hedon is available on Windows PC and Linux via Steam for $9.99.
