If you have a hankering for first-person, dungeon crawling RPG action, you’ll be happy to hear indie dungeon RPG Skullstone has been greenlit on Steam.
Developed by Polish indie studio Black Torch Games, the decidedly retro RPG was greenlit in just 18 days. Featured above, you can view the latest trailer for the game, which gives a nice overview of its combat, mechanics, and movement.
Skullstone is described as a throwback RPG that is more about the combat. Black Torch notes they’ve set up each character to have their own abilities and skills, with monsters capable of attacking you at a distance even. Their goal is to make the combat, as well as the puzzles, more challenging and interesting.
Here are the game’s key features:
- Choose from 20 different characters with different active and passive skills
- Explore vast dungeon levels made in few different visual styles
- Fight against unique monsters
- Find best ways to defeat enemies able to curse you and attack you at range
- Visit the town to receive quests and claim rewards
- Listen to the impressive ambient and dungeon synth OST
A release for Skullstone is set for sometime later this year, for PC.
